Today, my separation anxiety got so intense, I found myself smelling my boyfriend's pillow. FML

Amazing what you find when you're reading the random FMLs... OP here. Let me explain - at the time this was posted, I was pregnant and suffering from terrible morning sickness. Believe it or not, that worked a treat! And helped me cheer up as well... To everyone who said their partner is/was in the service, I hope they come home safe and sound. I respect both you and your partners. God bless.

No FML here. Very normal, I did that with my boyfriend who is now my husband. In fact he dresses my stuffed life size teddy bear with one of his t-shirts for me to cuddle with during winter when he has a long day at work:-)

that's strange. you should see a doctor for that

No offense but you might want to get a dog. But as a previous person commented at least you are not texting him every 2 minutes.

I have my boyfriend's jacket that I smell all the time, reminds me of him when he happens to be absent. Nothing wrong with smelling his pillow.

Lots of people do that. When my husband goes on business trips, I wear the last shirt he slept in because it smells like him. Smell is the sense most attached to memory. What you did is perfectly normal.

I think that's sweet. It means you care for him and miss him. :-)

Don't start worrying until you start smelling his dirty underwear!

I think this is kind of sweet. No need to feel all "FML" about it at all. I've done the same thing with a boyfriend's hoodie when he's been away, and worn it because it smells like him and makes me happy. ^^

That's not weird at all. I sleep with and smell my boyfriends sweater all the time! :)

Nothing weird about that. I always sleep with my bf's shirts, makes me feel better when hes away for a long time. Youre not alone :)
