Today, my separation anxiety got so intense, I found myself smelling my boyfriend's pillow. FML

Amazing what you find when you're reading the random FMLs... OP here. Let me explain - at the time this was posted, I was pregnant and suffering from terrible morning sickness. Believe it or not, that worked a treat! And helped me cheer up as well... To everyone who said their partner is/was in the service, I hope they come home safe and sound. I respect both you and your partners. God bless.

I did that when my boyfriend left for the military, my anxiety was terrible

I don't think this qualifies as an FML. My boyfriend lives 2,000 miles away and when I'm lonely I spray some of his cologne or cuddle up with a piece of his clothing. Maybe I am just weird as well though. :P

Omg I do the same with my husbands shirts!! Sometimes I don't wash them for days

I don't think that's weird. I'd smell my boyfriends jacket.

My Boyfriend is in the army at the moment.. I usually sleep in one of his t-shirts and sometimes smell his pillow too... I don't see anything wrong with it. :)

I don't actually see the fml here except for the separation anxiety part, I sniff the bear my girlfriend gave me all the time, doesn't smell like her anymore because it's worn off and we haven't remembered to reapply but still reminds me of her when we're apart

Oops, meant that it wasn't creepy at all lol, not that separation anxiety doesn't suck... I sniff the bear my girlfriend gave me all the time, doesn't smell like her anymore because it's worn off and we haven't remembered to reapply but still reminds me of her when we're apart

As I said, amazing what you find when you're reading all the randoms.

That makes sense. I'm glad you felt better in the end! :)

I spent a while smelling my boyfriends shirt while he was in prison, lol

My boyfriend and I are currently long distance. Sometimes when I go to his place and he has to work, as soon as he leaves I get back in bed and cuddle his pillow.

My boyfriend encourages me to do that by putting his cologne on everything he gives me.
