Today, my tampon string was hanging from my bathing suit. My boyfriend thought it was a thread hanging from my bikini bottom. He publicly pulled out my tampon. FML

This is fake, for sure. I saw this in a magazine except it was a string hanging off of a skirt.

I call shenanigans. Even if it didn't hurt (which it sometimes can- I've been using them for almost 20 years now), a tampon cannot just be easily yanked out- especially around a bathing suit or other clothing. Also, to those who say that boys/men cannot tell the difference between a regular thread and a tampon string- they need to find (or work on becoming) smarter men. There is no excuse for willful ignorance- it just makes you a loser.

No, it doesn't hurt to take my tampon out. But then again, I don't yank on it as if I'm trying to remove a thread. I'm pretty sure that would be really painful. Removing something that is unlubed and abrasive forcefully from my vag does not sound like my idea of a good time.

Smooth boy friend you got there, how did you guys get together? he meet you by crashing into your car?

poor thing it's not your fault what your body does naturally, you shouldn't be embarrassed for that i would simple smile and walk off and get a new one

you didn't notice him creeping towards your vaginal area and asked what he was doing? he'd probably have to be underneath you to even be ABLE to pull it out.

Haha I agree with #18 and #19...I saw that too.

arent u like not supposed to wear a tampon wen u swim??? i dont cuz thts wat i heard

no you are meant to wear one when you swim, you're not meant to wear pads while swimming. however, if your period is light, you could get away with not wearing anything, cold water stops the blood flow.
