Today, one of the girls who has made it her job to ruin my life cornered me in the hallway at school. She tried to insult me, and for the first time in my life I had a scathing comeback. My elation quickly ended when she violently shoved my face into the water fountain. FML

This is my FML. I made an account to comment. I play pen&paper D&D with my dad and she was getting on my case about playing the nerd sport and how pathetic it was. I told her that at least I can have a relationship with my father that doesn't involve him paying for abortions.

Wow, it actually got posted! I had to make an account to comment on it! This actually happened several years ago in middle school and I only recently remembered it when I was discussing fights we'd been in with a group of friends and this was the only one I had. The full story without the character limit is that my best friend and I were in the hall between classes (I don't remember why) and these two girls who bullied me the most showed up. I was RELENTLESSLY bullied in middle school by countless girls for my nerdy tendencies, befriending teachers, and my severe lack of confidence. My dad had recently taught me to play Dungeons and Dragons (being a huge nerd and Dungeon Master in his day, something I inherited from him) and the girl who was with me played too with my dad as the Dungeon Master. It was common knowledge that this girl was somewhat of a ****. Anyway, she and her cronie cornered us and started getting on both of us, but especially me since my best friend was a grade ahead, much taller, and more confident. Saying how I was a loser and my dad was a loser and how anyone who plays the nerd sport would never amount to anything and my dad and I should get real lives. So I retorted with "At least I have a relationship with my father that doesn't involve him paying for abortions. How many have you had now?" My best friend went "Ohhhhh!" which probably didn't help. Feeling confident about it and the look on her face, I turned to the water fountain to drink, which in hindsight was a stupid, stupid thing to do. She shoved my face into the spout and split it open, but I didn't need stitches and it hasn't scarred. My best friend and I were taking martial arts at the time, but she was a black belt and I had only just started and was a white belt. They knew she was a black belt and she threatened to cause them explicit bodily harm and sent them packing. I probably would have done something too/joined in with her threats, but needless to say I was rather disoriented and more concerned with mopping up the blood with my sleeve. I did immediately report her to the principal and she was expelled and her cronie suspended. My friend got a half-hearted warning and I got nothing. So all's well that ends well :) I just wish she had always been by my side throughout middle school xD Wow this is long. Jeez.

I don't know you and I never will but I feel so proud and happy for you. Middle school... those two years were the worst years of my life. I know what it's like, as early as elementary school I was bullied as well. I don't wanna get sappy but it's great you stood up for yourself! And also that you have a great friend. I wasn't always so lucky, even with them nearby... Anywho, congrats on having that bitch expelled, I never had that pleasure ;3

Wow OP. you gave her what I call a verbal bitch slap ;) Good for you. My mum taught me to use my words to get back at the bullies but if or when it turned physical i was always told to defend myself. That being said I've been very ill for a long time and that's why I was bullied, but the one time a bully and her friend turned very violent and attacked me while I was walking my dog, I did put up enough of a fight to get myself and my dog home where we called the police (I was 14) I don't care what anyone says talking to authorities CAN help. My mum refused to let me attend school until I moved classes, in the end she had to move SCHOOL. Go OP :)

Let me get this straight.. this happened a long time ago and yet you deliberately worded it to sound current, you let it be common knowledge that you play D&D with your dad, you have TERRIBLE taste in music.. and you want our sympathy? I was bullied at school, you don't see me making FMLs about it. If that is the only time you were physically attacked you got off easy. Suck it up buttercup.

Of course I did. Every single FML on this site is worded to sound current. I felt it was post worthy whether it was put on the site or not, and it was. I am not at all ashamed to let it be common knowledge that I play D&D, since it's an amazing game and I could rave about it all day, which I won't bore a close-minded individual like you with. My taste in music is nobody's business and I happen to like it, and you don't see me attacking you for yours. I'm also not asking for sympathy and I never expected to receive any. Have a nice day :) ;P
