Today, I finally went to the doctor's office to have a small patch of acne on my stomach looked at. Since it was in an almost perfect circle and abnormally sensitive, I was worried it could be ringworm or some other sort of skin infection. It turned out to be an infection alright. Herpes. FML

Today, I thought my face was breaking out with pimples, and I thought it was weird because I never break out. And I noticed all these "bug bites" all over my body. When I got home, I realized those weren't bug bites. I have chicken pox, and my high school graduation is tomorrow. FML

Today, I have what is probably a cold sore on my upper lip. I also have a mustache, which keeps rubbing against it. Because of this, no matter what I do, it stings. The next few days are fixing to be very, very long and miserable. FML

please please please buy or get your parents to buy a bottle of Obagi Clenziderm Therapeutic Lotion. (that or benzaclin, which you need a prescription for and unless you have insurance it's sky-high) Benzoyl peroxide, found in many acne products, kills the p. acnes bacteria but it is drying and the molecules are too big to get deeply into the pore. The bp in the Obagi lotion has been micronized so it is able to get all the way in and kill everything. It's about $70 but it lasts forever. Do NOT dry out your skin thinking it will dry the acne up, that will just trigger your skin to produce more oil to combat the dryness. Wash with dove no more than 2x a day and moisturize with cetaphil. It will be ok.
