Average People would have done the smart thing, change the ******* bulb....Genius!
I know exactly what you're going trough on daily basis. My dad has a PhD in civil engineering, yet he cannot comprehend the simplest household operations (putting the juicer together after it's been washed, or like he always forgets to put washing tablet into the washer). His mind is somewhere else when he's to figure out the remote controls (which controls what appliance) or work the microwave. He didn't even bother to figure out his cell phone, so I have to check his sms several times a day. If there wasn't for my 'bachelors degree in applied arts' mom, he'd probably be dead years ago. He stared at me changing the sim card in his cell like I was performing brain surgery. Light bulbs?! Nightmare! It's not the lack of education or intelligence, it's the lack of interest... He does not care to fix it himself, he will call an electrician, or a plumber for the simplest things, and preserve his precious brain functions to work on revolutionary extra-light support system for the riverside area... I know your grief. :/
Why is your life ******? At least they managed to get someone to help them with the bulb. Maybe you could've taken things in your own hands and prove them you can do it yourself.
Um, yeah, my father rides motorcycles. And my mom cooks. I am not good at either one of those. If you didn't figure it out, how is that reflected on the type of degree your parents have. It just means YOU aren't magically inheriting their PhD's. I don't cook or ride a hog (lol). So you aren't magically a genius just because your parents have degrees.
There's no PhD in common sense :)
@Flutist the OP lives with her parents......shes not saying that she inherited the PhD's.....shes saying that her parents called the electrician :) MrWhite2020 is right, you can't do a PhD in common sense :D
all brains and no sense lol
So both your parents are pretty huge dicks?
Keywords
They're both PhDs or they have PhDs?!
A PhD doesn't make you an expert in lightbulb matters.
