I used to get cramps like that too it would be so bad that I would spend the whole day throwing up and I wouldn't be able to do anything but my doctor put me on birth control and it helps a lot it regulates your period and makes the cramps almost non existent you should see if that would help you
Muscle relaxers. I'm not sure what they prescribed you but ask for something else and don't take medicine that makes you feel worse.
I fainted because of my cramps...
very vivid description. I am very acquainted with that rusty fork feeling. best description ever. feel better and try a hot pad on ur tummy
on behalf on the rest of womankind, I give you sincere condolences. Periods are bad enough in the first place. I'm not a feminist by any means (egalitarian), but once every month I wish that men had to bleed out their penis.
That doctor fails as a doctor
yeah I know the pain I just got off of a medication that was like that.
Same thing use to happen to me, and I would pass out. They put me on birth control (oral) and they've disappeared. My main problem was the lack of blood getting to my brain, though.
I feel ya OP, my doc out me on a medicine to control nerve pain, but one of the added ingredients was something used to make contractions during and after labor stronger (the contractions after labor are to get the uterus to stop bleeding and get back into it's spot). So when my already painful period hit I experienced labor contractions.

Maybe go back and ask if he can prescribe anything else because it's not working for you. Tell him what's wrong and that you can't take it and see if he'll switch it with something else. Good luck op.
A pill that causes more of the symptom it's supposedly treating is obviously not the right one for you. Get another prescription!
