@ 117 - You want an example? Sure. Gainesville, Florida -- Amendment 2 (Just one of many!) It dealt with the equalities for all of the LGBT community. While the people against it made their slogan "Keep men out of women's restrooms!" (because it dealt with Transgenders abilities to choose which restroom they feel most comfortable in), it also (had it been passed) would allow the LGBT community to be fired from their job, kicked out of their house, and otherwise discriminated against because of their orientation. Please, don't try to act like you know so much. You come on here acting as if these things don't happen because you don't see them. You act as if I'm personally attacking you when I was pointing out something terrible that happens to people everyday. And you have the audacity to call me a dumbass when you can't even use proper grammar, and have trouble spelling words like "realize".
*Sorry! Those people were for Amendment 2, not against it! And btw, my original comment was not to personally attack you but to mention that there is still discrimination against people because of their orientation. Don't jump down my throat and start calling me names for making a valid point.
They probably loved it!
You guys must STFU. I'm A Gay and I'm So OVER The whole "look at all my rainbows and watch me finger my girlfriend and we're so in love we wanna get married when we've only been together for six months" thing. It's Ridiculous. AND While I DO Have a shirt that says "what happens with the girls stays with the girls" I don't believe that I shove my sexuality down anyone's throat anymore than A Straight couple Playing footsie at Marie Callender's or holding pinkies. I don't do it in front of children And I Keep it PG by all means. Respect is respect whether you're gay or straight. Not all of us are ignorantly flamboyant, and not all of us are ashamed. P.S. Darkon is So ******* annoying. Yeah You.
I wouldn't go calling it 'ignorantly flamboyant', some people are just like that. So long as its not some act because they think they should act like that now that they are open about their homosexuality its not ignorant. ohwell that's just my opinion and I agree with most of what you're saying,
eh. dont sweat it.
Man, I'm about fed up with gay people. Not because of the fact that they're homosexual- I joke about being gay with my friends all the time as a joke, and lesbians like the same thing I do, so idrc. ============== The thing that bugs me is that gays tend to be so hypocritical, and it's starting to really bug me. Like they are the worst hypocrites I've ever seen. Let me give a few examples: 1) Gay people announce to the world that they are gay, they wear T-shirts that they are gay (cough, cough), they wear gay pride wear, they make sure to tell every straight person they are gay just to shout it in their face.... but if anybody mentions that they are gay, or points them out as being gay, even if it is not in a mean tone at all... then suddenly that person is a vicious racist homophobe, or at least "insensitive". 2) Gay people talk about non-violence... but then their entire movement beats up people and storms the streets, including bashing an old lady with a cross nearly to death, after the Prop 8 incident. 3) Gay people talk about "acceptance", "tolerance", and "love"... yet they attack like bees anybody who happens to exercise their 1st amendment right, and either vote against gay rights and/or mention that they simply view traditional marriage as the best way to go. Oh, yeah, gays talk about acceptance, but they also aren't very "accepting" of traditional marriage, when in fact traditional marriage has been in place many thousands of years, whereas the gays wanting gay marriage has only been a radical movement in the past few decades. To put it simply? Gays are for acceptance and tolerance, yes- as long as that thing happens to fit within their radical, new, narrow definition of what they consider acceptable!!! In their opinion, screw everybody who differs from us, screw everybody who lived the past thousands of years, the only people we are tolerant of are the few and far between gays or gay sympathizers of the past 40 years! ============== 4) Gays talk about how they are gay, and mention it everywhere, and have gay pride parades, and say how homosexuality is a great thing... but if anybody merely mentions that they like heterosexuality or straight people, then suddenly they are "homophobic assholes". It's funny... how come liking straight people and being straight makes you a homophobe, but being gay and liking gay people DOESN'T make you a "heterophobe", or a person who dislikes/is afraid of straight people?? DOUBLE STANDARD!!!!!! ============= Last but not least, MY personal favorite... 5) Gays talk about gay awareness, talk to the community about gay people's needs, urges people to be sensitive to the gay community, sets up gay outreach and "information about the gay rights movement" and information about homosexuality IN GENERAL... But then the gay people are either enraged or horrified if you happen to bring up some facts, statistics, or information about gay people that they DON'T like- aka what they want to sneakily keep hidden from the public, because it does not benefit them, even though it is 100% true. (That's sort of like saying 'slavery got a lot of shit done, look at the pyramids' and then NEGLECTING TO SAY that 'oh yeah, and slavery also is evil and wrong, because it enslaves people against their will, caused many unnecessary deaths, and was inhumane and brutal and evil'.) Here are some examples of what gay people DONT want to be mentioned: A) The average life span of a gay person is 43- http://www.indegayforum.org/news/show/26857.html B) The % of gays with STD's vs. straights is exponentially higher for gays... for example, gays in 1997 only comprised 3% of the population, yet they had 21% of the syphilis transmission cases- vs. only 18% for heterosexuals. That is like them having 50x the chance of getting an STD than straights. The number for gays with AIDS vs. straights is even worse. -http://www.catholiceducation.org/articles/homosexuality/ho0075.html C) Gays tend to have many more partners than heterosexuals; 75% of gays admitted to having over 100 lifetime sex partners, and 28% of gays admit to having over A THOUSAND (1000) lifetime sex partners! http://www.catholiceducation.org/articles/homosexuality/ho0075.html As you can probably guess, gays and lesbians are not confined by morality or reason near as much as heterosexuals are. Thus, they have less serious, shorter relationships; thus, they get more STDs from more partners; thus, they die at a younger age. D) Gays have a much higher rate of suicide than straights (approximately 4 times), especially those in schools. -http://gaylife.about.com/b/2005/07/25/the-gay-suicide-rate.htm E) Gays and lesbians tend to make much less money financially, as well as tend to be less educated, less cultured, less religious, and less everything that has to do with being civilized, intelligent, or refined. -The Encyclopedia of Lesbian and Gay Histories and Cultues, by Bonnie Zimmerman & George Haggerty F) Gays and lesbians are more likely to have unsuccessful marriages, get divorces, etc. Thus, their adopted kids are much more likely to live in fractured, tense, or broken homes. See source for letter "C". G) Marriage as an institution was invented by the Jewish faith, and passed down through the Abrahamic faiths (Christianity and Islam). So therefore, the Jewish/Christian/Islamic faiths technically have the rights to determine marriage and what defines marriage. Thus, they have the right to determine who can marry- NOT the government! Deciding that gays can marry, without the consent of at least 1 or 2 of the 3 religions, is not only copyrighting and stealing, but it is highly disrespectful to the religions as well. (In other words, without Abrahamic faiths there WOULD NOT BE MARRIAGE!!!! Thus, how do gays think they have some right to change the definition of marriage, when they themselves did not do a single thing to make marriage?) H) Civil Unions provide the same legal benefits and social benefits as do marriages, except for monetary and religious implications. So basically, by homosexuals wanting marriage instead of civil unions, they are doing it for 2 reasons: 1- greed and the want for more money, and 2- possibly also to desecrate, or "defeat", judaism, christianity, and religion in general. Insulting or hurting religion appeals to them, apparently. ========================================== Thus, I have given the hypocrisy of gays, as well as some facts gays do not want you to know! thanks
Well pretend you have an accent....
@124 annoying because I am right, as you seem to have agreed with me on most of my points.

You wear a shirt that says that, you can't be offended by "Hey, gays!". It's a little funny. A little. :)
I live in SoCal - we refer to everyone here as "you guys". Just like in the south more than one person is "y'all". Guys doesn't always mean "male".
