Ever heard of reverse racism? its the same exact thing. I have a close gay friend, we'll call him Ryan. Ryan enjoys bragging about how often he uses his gayness to his advantage. One example being when he gets pulled over by the police, he over exaggerates his homosexuality because it actually makes a cop less likely to charge you with something minor if it will result in you taking them to court for a hate crime. Don't argue with me on this example because I've seen it first hand, and it's only one of many ways he uses his sexual orientation to his advantage.
