Today, three women came into my work and one was wearing a shirt with a rainbow that said, "We are everywhere". I had just gotten what it was referring to and when I greeted them I ended up saying "Hi gays!" instead of the standard "Hi guys". FML

You wear a shirt that says that, you can't be offended by "Hey, gays!". It's a little funny. A little. :)

I live in SoCal - we refer to everyone here as "you guys". Just like in the south more than one person is "y'all". Guys doesn't always mean "male".

#77 why are you saying in all caps "ITS HIS OWN FAULT FOR HARRASSING SOMEONE!!!" to me? I clearly acknowledged that I understand he deserved it. You clearly are a ******* idiot who did NOT acknowledge that I was pointing out how sure, someone can be discriminatory towards gay people, but guess what -- they can get bit in the ass and lose their own job for doing it. Ever heard of reverse racism? its the same exact thing. I have a close gay friend, we'll call him Ryan. Ryan enjoys bragging about how often he uses his gayness to his advantage. One example being when he gets pulled over by the police, he over exaggerates his homosexuality because it actually makes a cop less likely to charge you with something minor if it will result in you taking them to court for a hate crime. Don't argue with me on this example because I've seen it first hand, and it's only one of many ways he uses his sexual orientation to his advantage.

i almost spit out my food thats so effin funny

Just a miss slip everyone does it at some point.

No biggie. I am a lesbian and that wouldn't have offended me. It reminds me of the Family Guy when Meg is meeting the lesbians and she says "Hi you gays, guys, girls!"

I'm straight, but I do support gay people. Don't worry about it. I know a lot of gay people in my school, and I'm friends with a bunch. I hate how people are like, "Gay people are so nasty." its how they want to live, so stop getting in other people's personal lives.

Lol #49 Honestly I don't care what peoples' sexuality is. I don't want to see two people of the same sex kissing in public, but I don't want to see people of opposite sex kissing in public. Stuff like that is a private matter. It does not concern me in any way, so I don't want people throwing it in my face. Yes, that applies to straight people as well. That's just my opinion though.

#85/73: Uhm, obviously you're the ******* idiot because you contradict yourself, and clearly your one gay friend in the world who does that is a ******* pussy, and no not all gay people do that, but some people feel they are threatened by insults about their sexuality. And yes, you said it was your uncle's own fault, but then you pretty much blamed the gay guy at his work for him losing his job. "Guess what happened to THE POOOOOOR LITTLE HELPLESS GAY GUY. He got an OBSCENELY large amount of money when he sued the company. ********My uncle is now jobless because of this incident.******** Don't come up in here pretending to know what you are talking about, gay people can't get married in some states, but straight people can't sue for thousands of dollars by throwing the "omg HATE CRIME!" mentality around that so many minorities love."

Hahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahhaha

#92 you're so ******* dumb its just painful. why are you focusing paragraphs of your time on the ONE SENTENCE "my uncle is now jobless because of this incident." What you are saying would make sense if it were the intention of my post. But since you're half retarded, you clearly can not comprehend the direction or intention of my post. My post was NOT meant to blame my uncle's job loss on the gay person. I don't like my uncle and never have. In fact I can't stand him. My post was to point out that gay people are not always the sad victims (though often they are) , the same way black people and any other ethnic group are not always the victims. Reverse discrimination is defined as: the practice of favouring a historically disadvantaged group at the expense of members of a historically advantaged group. Get learned you dumb bitch.

Don't see why that's an FML. Especially since they were women, "gays" is a more accurate descriptor than "guys". If you didn't say anything negative about them, and they proudly wear their gayness on a shirt, they have no reason to be upset. It's not like you outed them.
