Today, was the first day of my sophomore year. While receiving my schedule, I burst into tears at the sight of a disfigured midget. I'm now seen as the school bitch for making fun of a midget. I have a genuine fear of midgets. FML

I'm not saying that all midgets are disfigured. what I meant was that that particular person has an actual disfigured face. And yes, I do have a legitimate reason for my fear. I don't feel inclined to share that reason because then all of the people who already believe I was being an ass will still not agree with me. the last thing I wanted to do was hurt/insult her.

Why the **** are you afraid of midgets?

13 - It's a strange fear but obviously there's a reason why she's scared of them. Also she probably can't control crying when she sees one. Think before posting another ignorant comment.

You would LOVE my school.. Every single hall is just filled with short people. The freshman get shorter and shorter each year. Actually, I'm technically a midget since I'm 4' 8.5' and the cut off is 4'10"

132 why does it make a difference if you're elderly?

At least use the politically correct term, this isn't Borderlands 2

What does being disfigured have to do with anything?

Dude, seriously? You need help. Having a phobia of disabled people is something that needs to be corrected. It's not like spiders, snakes, or heights. Disabled people have feelings, and you're kind of a dick for not trying to manage your "phobia."

That sucks for the small person but I get your fear. Look at fairy tales and kid's stories - small, ugly and old people are always the bad guys. Why are you guys surprised that some people get phobias from stuff like that? Not to mention, phobias aren't usually based in logic. People can even be phobic of their own genetalia. Although you didn't really have to comment about that person being "disfigured"...

it's pretty rude to say midget. say little person they prefer that.
