Why would you put real leaves on the float in the first place? Not only do YDI for not knowing what poison ivy looks like, but you also deserve it for not thinking about the bugs that live in leaves, like ticks (they would eventually end up on the people riding on the float) or about the allergies many people have to leaves. Oh, and the fact that leaves mold. And that they don't hold up well when used in craft projects.
Burt's Bees poison ivy soap for the skin, Technu for the clothes. If you didn't wash up before the rash rose, duct tape the blisters overnight. It's weird, but it works. Mr. Doe is terribly sensitive to poison ivy, so this is something I know a lot about.
525 600 minutes....
Five hundred, twenty-five thousand six hundred itches...
Lol, I think you mean FIVE hundred twenty five thousand six hundred minutes. And RENT is amazing. I saw it last year and I haven't been able to stop listening to it since.
@OP if you guys were lucky enough and it was your first exposure to poison ivy, you most likely won't get the allergic reaction this time. For some it takes several exposures to develop allergic reaction, and some others won't develop an allergic reaction at all even if exposed multiple times.
