Today, while at work, a man came up to me and screamed that I was the devil's child, pointing at the tattoo on my wrist the whole time. I just stood there while he prayed for my soul. FML

It was the one on my left wrist of a butterfly and flowers. The other one is a dolphin and flowers. I was unaware that butterflies and dolphins where evil. They were for my Mom and Step-Mom.

What the hell? Did you have a demon eating a child as a tattoo?

You deserved it for getting disgusting tattoos *insert look of disgust*

To the people thinking it is the tattoo's design that caused the man to fly off the handle; you are wrong. This zealot was referring to the old testament. ANY tattoo is an affront to God. A Jew cannot be buried on Jewish consecrated ground if they have a tattoo. Unfortunately for OP, orthodox christians adhere to this principle as well It flows into the whole body is a temple argument and they have desecrated it.

I know what you are saying, but my argument is, if my body is a temple, have you ever seen a temple not adorned and decorated?

I never said I agreed with the philosophy. I have several tattoos. Each one was thought out prior to getting and each one has a deep meaning to me. They hurt too damned much to be a haphazard decision.

I would say YDI depending on the tattoo but that's jus unnecessary for him to do that

I have tattoos on my wrists too. Don't let the freaks get you down. Stay proud of your ink.
