Today, while backpacking in Switzerland I had my camera stolen. Not only does this have photos of my entire trip but the pictures I took for my best friend's wedding. I was the only photographer of her elopement. FML

If you were the photographer at the wedding, it should have been your uttermost and foremost responsibility to get those pictures safe and store in multiple copies. Sorry for your camera, that part is FML, but the wedding pictures are YDI.

always back up if you can. but this totally ******* sucks.

http://ifoundyourcamera.blogspot.com/ go there and wend in a req about your lost camera, or see if someone posted an entry about a camera they found that sounds like it could be yours.

A similer thing happened to my parents. They had one wedding photographer. after the wedding she relised the camera had no film.

YDI i'm not even a professional photographer and i have a lock box in the truck for memory cards and god made computers so you back memory cards up.

You're an idiot for bringing something so important on a trip. Back up your pictures, that's what computers are for.

haven't u ever heard of backing up your photos? esp. with something that important
