Today, while driving, I got a call on my cell phone. Trying to be safe and avoid an accident, I pulled into the nearest parking lot before answering. While I was turning in to park, someone rear-ended me. FML

Today, while driving to a client's home, I received a text. Since I loathe those who text and drive, I pulled into a convenience store's parking lot. While I was texting, a car sped into the lot, rear-ending my car. FML

Today, I was driving around a parking lot, looking for an empty spot. Someone was backing out a bit too quickly as I was about to pass by, so I honked to announce myself. The driver instead panicked and reversed into my front bumper. FML

Today, I decided to be a good driver and not run through the yellow light. As soon as I stopped my car another came and rear-ended me. The guy told me to go in the parking lot so we can exchange information. So I drove into the parking lot, I turned my head and watched him drive away. FML

Today, I was driving in stop and go traffic and passed two accidents in the process. I got nervous and decided to change routes to avoid getting hit. As I was trying to find an alternative route on my GPS, I rear-ended the car in front of me. FML

You did the right thing. There are far too many people who talk on the phone while driving, and numerous studies show that distracted driving is just as dangerous as drunk driving. Congratulations for not being a moron. You and your kind are a dying breed.

YDI, the modern age we are in, you can get a bluetooth wireless headphones the size of your nails to use for hands-free driving, but noooooooooooooooo.. people still hold their phone to their ears during driving or need to stop so they can use the phone.

Well you did the right thing by pulling over to talk in the phone. that makes you a very responsible driver! At least when you get rear ended it's always the other persons fault. Sorry OP I hope they gave you their details!
