All these people arguing that he did the right thing. There is no guarentee that running over the deer's head 'put it out of it's misery'. It could have survived that and been put through more suffering because of it. The right thing to do would have been to get out of the car and snap the goddamn things neck to be sure, like my grandmother used to.

I don't condone the "evil smirk" he had, however he did do the deer a favor. Doubtful a vet would have assisted it, so at that point death was the quickest release.... Maybe re-evaluate your current S/O also...

Your boyfriend could've been way more sensitive about the whole situation. But if the deer was badly hurt, maybe it was best to put it out of it's misery. Although it probably would have been better to call the cops and have them come out and shoot it. That's what they usually do around here.

Never go out to a deer unless it's a baby... If they think you are trying to hurt it then it might attack you
