Today, while I was taking a long relaxing shower, the shower head decided to fly off and hit me in the face. The dentist couldn't stop laughing. FML

I don't understand for the life of me understand how OP deserves this for taking a shower and getting hit in the mouth by a shower head!! OP that sucks and must have hurt like hell. Hopefully your Dentist was able to take care of you!!

That's weird. The same thing happened to me the other day. Apparently the piece that holds the shower head from becoming detachable, had gotten rusty and old and had already fallen off, and was glued back on. The glue must've stopped working from getting wet. Guess the guy that lived in the house before me tried fixing it. Well now I have an egg on my head because it fell off and whacked me in the head while I was washing my hair. Surprised I wasn't knocked out lol so I feel your pain, even though your story sounds far more worse. Hope they were able to fix everything!

That's scary I never realized this could even happen. No more showers for a long long time...or until I check the conditon of the shower head I guess.

Yeah, it scared the crap out of me when it happened lol not everyday you expect to be bashed off the head, with a shower head. Now every time I shower, I'm going to be paranoid about it falling off again lmao

Yeah seriously OP, I was wondering that too. You definitely didn't deserve this, it's not your fault that the shower head malfunctioned. Honestly this is the 3rd or 4th post I've seen in a couple days where someone got a bunch of ydi and they clearly didn't deserve it. There might be something wrong with the site.

Well one time I stood up from sitting down and scraped my ankle against a dog brush (the metal ones). I ended up needing to go to urgent care for stitches. You can imagine the doctors face when I said I cut my ankle on a dog brush.
