I think it's funny all the butthurt seeming people who are saying that the OP should stay away from her mom's drawers. I think it's her dad's drawers she should be wary of.

Is Dad still around or is your mom a cougar on the prowl? If the g-string seems a little ambitious, you may not want to borrow socks from your mom. They may have been used somewhere other than her feet ;)

I would hate having you as a kid. Your mother did her laundry, so she had socks. She also obviously did not expect you to be going in their because she used it to hide sex related things. So that means, your mother does not want you to be in her things. So, from now on, don't go into people's rooms and things without asking, and do your own laundry.

I would hate having you as a mom. First of all, my mom, sister, and I all have the same size feet and share socks. Mine usually end up getting put in my sisters room, since we all take turns with the laundry. Second of all, there's no reason to say "Do your own laundry," since that's you assuming something, for reasons that are behind me. Her socks could easily all be in the wash right now. Thirdly, I don't know about you, but between the socks that go missing, and the ones that get holes in them, I don't have an infinite number of socks. It's not like she was borrowing jewelry or a shirt or something, it's just socks. You're making way too big of a deal.
