KennyJF7 tells us more.
I'm the OP, and the bunny was in a patch of grass oddly taller than the rest, and I didn't know it was there until I backed up because I thought I hit a tennis ball for my dog.

YOU MONSTER!! -.- how could you..
This is the most thoroughly depressing thing I have ever read on this site. Ever.
Satan! ;::(
at least you took the picture of it first
Today I read on fml that some idiot purposely killed a baby bunny and tried to act like it was an accident. The fact that you you knew it was on the lawn, and did not put it in a crate, or move it off the lawn, or anything at all makes you a bunny killer!! why didn't you move it off the lawn instead of "forgetting about it and running it over with a lawnmower" FML
Yeah, no. Trying to touch a wild baby mammal? Bad idea. Mammals, unlike birds, actually can scent humans having touched their offspring and will abandon them, assuming the poor thing wouldn't have died of fright.
Is this on reddit some where?
"Kids! Hasenpfeffer tonight!"
no one under the age of 30 is gonna get this reference
tman1985: Wrong. I got it, and I'm not old enough to vote.
Same!
When I was seven something similar happened to my dad. He was weed wacking and there was like 3 or 4 baby bunnies he didn't see and weed wacked them. Two of them were mostly fine, but the other two were pretty messed up so we put them out of their misery. We figured they'd have died anyway. As for the other two, we helped them get back to health. It was weird because we lived in the city, right across from a diary factory place. You wouldn't assume bunnies to be nearby there. It happens to the best of us OP.
OMG that is beyond sick! The poor bunny! :'( And Easter is coming, too! I hope you don't have kids, or that they didn't witness it...that would scar them for life. Seriously, as someone already said, if you knew there was a baby bunny on the lawn, why not move it or something? Or at least watch where you're driving/pushing that mower to avoid this very situation. I'm an animal rights activist, and I now feel like throwing up. Excuse me while I go do so.
Ugh. Activists.

Oh no, poor little bunny. Although, that must've been traumatizing for you to see and go through. My condolences. :(
