Yeah, putting a cat on a leash outside alone? Might as well feed it to sharks, if it's an indoor cat. Cats have territories and they can figure out how to get out of their harness. It would be defenseless outside against strays or neighborhood outdoor cats. Doing that would be mean, it would be better cuddling the cat in the livingroom if possible and close the door into the room when you have fun time. Cats can hold it in for quite a while and it can sleep the time away.
