Especially condensed milk. it's disgustingly yummy. As a kid, i used to eat condensed milk and simultaneously throw up everywhere because it was so sweet and my body has always hated white milk (not lactose intolerant though) but condensed milk is yummy!!!!

i think its cause she was arguin with her family saying she doesnt have a shopping problem and then she walked in with all of that milk and they proved her wrong .... im guessing thats it ... idk little confused myself lol

The FML is that OP realized he's been in denial about Mom's shopping problem too. He was also likely enabling it by taking up her defense. This is a comical example, but true shopping addictions can get pretty serious. Just like drugs, alcohol, eating disorders, gambling etc., it can take years and lots of work, on both the addict's and her loved ones' parts, to fully recover. Enablers are addicts in their own right. Shopping addictions and eating disorders are especially difficult in another sense, because you can't ever stop eating or spending money the way you can totally avoid drugs or alcohol.
