I'm so sorry OP. that sounds like it hurts >_
Wasps can only sting once, after which they die. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that you were stung but everything else is exaggeration and BS!
Wasps can sting numerous times! It's honey bees that can only sting once. Get your facts straight before you get all high & mighty!!!
dumbass
In contrast to the honey bee, the common wasp and hornet can both insert and withdraw their stinger with comparitive ease. The single wasp is therefore able to deliver multiple stings with ease. This multi-sting capacity suits its generally more aggressive nature and you will often find that wasp and hornets will try and sting their victim more than once. Hey 29, the internet....you should try it sometime :)
wow
omg, how close does google have to be in reach before you use it?
@salvorican i think my friend snuck it up there she can sneak anything anywhere btw im txtn from my phone sorry and still just to say wasps dont bite
Wow. That was both almost impossible to read, and totally pointless to say. Bravo.
Shit, the wasps are biting now too in addition to stinging? What the hell is the world coming to? Next thing you know, politicians will be telling the truth, vegetarians will be eating meat, and FML commenters will be making intelligent comments!
Wasps do bite... so that wasn't a very intelligent comment. Just because they don't often bite doesn't mean they don't bite at all..
Wasps bite for prey dismemberment, and not as a defense mechanism. Wasps mandibles are also not poisonous, so a bite would hurt significantly less than a sting.
Geeksaresexy- As Keyman said, their bite is neither their primary mechanism of defense nor is it venomous like their sting. Right? Right. Try to recognise sarcasm next time.
You said "Shit, the wasps are biting now too in addition to stinging?" implying you believed they didn't bite at all. The reason they bite is irrelevant and can't save your comment. You made a stupid comment. Just admit it.
I will do no such thing. I made a sarcastic comment, and just because a few people are too dense to see it doesn't change anything. There is a difference between what you think I implied and what you actually inferred. I'm glad we were able to clear things up.
Also male wasps HAVE NO STINGER so how the **** do they defend themselves if not by biting?
Male wasps rarely if ever leave the nest, because their entire purpose is to work, and to mate with the Queen then die. Female wasps defend the nest, so they are the ones who have defense mechanisms.
You claim it was sarcasm now that you have been made to look like an asshat.
179- You really do live up to your username.
You shouldn't expect any less ;)
Not at all, Captain. Anyone who has seen my comments (nearly 3400 of them) knows that they are almost all sarcastic. I'm sure once you're around long enough, you'll start to notice it. Can we move on now?
Yes, please ! The joke has been ruined enough. -_-
Alright. If you were really being sarcastic, then my bad. Sorry. I do have respect for you and your commenting. There are a special few who are actually entertaining and you're one of them.
Let's beat the dead ******* horse some more shall we? The Bastard can do whatever he wants, he's above the law, and above you.
Now THAT, I have no respect for. Nobody is above the law. Not even those who wrote the law.
You really are new here. The Doc runs this shit tighter than Kim Jong Il's fashion pariah speed-suit. Get the **** out of his way, or he'll insert a coke bottle in your rectum, all the way to 11.
Wasps don't bite, they sting. But they can sting multiple times, so I completely believe this FML.
your not the first
Wasps and bumble bees can sting more than once. Honey bees can only sting once. Also wasps DO in fact bite as well as sting it's just less common for them to do so. One specific type of wasp bites to lay eggs in the wound.
