Today, while walking into a hotel room, I passed by a full-sized mirror. My reflection scared me so badly that I punched the mirror, which then shattered and resulted in several cuts to my hand. FML

I can see where OP is coming from. His surroundings were unfamiliar and the mirror was unexpected. So his reflection most likely looked like someone was suddenly there. I gotta say I'm impressed. OP has a strong punch and fast reflexes.
