Hey, OP here! Just to clarify, I normally DO cover my mouth when yawning. The wasp just beat me to the punch. At least I'm not allergic, and it's definitely something I've been chuckling about most of the day. Luckily, my boyfriend was able to get me to see the bright side of this event. :)

And this is why you cover your mouth when you yawn

The wasp liked it, so he wanted to put a wing on it. Edit: Or a sting on it. But seriously, thank heavens you're okay.
Nope. Sorry. This was the one time in my life I spit out instead of swallow.
Eh oh!!! Lol
Im so glad you aren't allergic! If I had been stung on my tongue it probably would have resulted in an ER trip. I once got stung near my eye and it looked like someone had attached a baseball to my face.
Lucky I'm allergic to wasps and bees. Last time my friend shared her Gatorade with me a bee was on it I didn't pay attention since I was dying of thirst and the bee stung the inside of my cheek. Every time I get stung I cough up blood ;-; Bees and Wasps are assholes
You should definitely go to the doctor soon. getting stung in the head with wasp venom is very dangerous, even if you're not allergic.
One sting isn't enough to harm. I've been stung on the face, and I was fine, although the stinger did break off in my cheek.
"Bright Side"
This happened to me too once! The only difference was that I was eating a donut
there's a time in your life when you're forced to eat something. this is that time. shoulda eaten that lil sucker.

Bad luck like that is hard to swallow.
