He probably agreed with you but didn't want to say it out loud. Cause it would look bad on him for saying that about his daughter. I doubt a boss wants his daughter looking like that in front of employees.

Why do you guys keep saying the boss should be a better parent and take better care of his child? If his daughter got drunk at a work party, I think we can safely assume she is an adult, not a child, so it's not up to her father to decide how much she should drink. Her father is just a collateral victim here, since her moronic behavior embarrassed him in front of his employees.
