Usually when applying for a job they ask what hours you are willing to work. If you said you would be able work certain hours and then refused to work those hours, it’s not unreasonable to be fired for that. Life is hard. Don’t lie on the employment form - It will come back to bite you.
"Coming into work early" means earlier than the hours agreed upon before signing your contract. And there could be genuine reasons OP couldn't get in earlier than agreed, like if they rely on public transport, or are responsible for getting their kid/s ready for school, or are a carer for a relative who can't look after themselves.
