Waste of time and money

Today, I found out that what I thought was "acne" is actually an allergic reaction to a cream I've been using for years. I thought the cream was helping me with the breakouts but my doctor says the real acne probably went away naturally years ago. FML

Well look on the bright side, no more acne now! Shit, I Wish I could say that

You're meant to swap skin products regularly for reasons like this

Allergy can be cured easily. But acne can't so you should be happy that you don't have any acne anymore. Hope your allergy gets better though.

I have never herd of someone making them self look ugly before! Except those people that dress up in goth, some of what they do can be excessive and stupid. Who would ever hire someone dressed like that.

What the hell are you talking about?

I actually had a similar problem... My mom was forcing me to use acne medicine when I first started getting it. Then a few months ago I went on a one week trip, and forgot the medicine. By the end of the trip I had no acne... The doctor said the same thing yours did lol

Here's my question, why would you think that the cream was helping you with your breakouts if you were still having breakouts while using it? That is basically the opposite of what is supposed to happen.

Hopefully you're skin will start to clear up to has cleared up. That's a wonderful feeling to have clear skin.

You never asked? OTC acne meds are all snake oul.

I've very fortunately never experienced acne so I'm not sure how acne creams would work, but I have had allergic reactions to creams/shower gels. My skin usually gets unbearably itchy and sometimes my throat gets tight/sore. Did you not get symptoms like that?
