This is something only coming out in the past month in my extended family, my youngest cousin is 26 now but when she was a kid she had that kind of 'inappropriate' behaviour. Everyone figured she was trying to get attention away from her very ill sister. Turns out her grandfather was molesting her. He's 76 and dying, so everyone just avoids and ignores the old perv. I don't think anyone's going to bother with a funeral. We understand her better now. 99% of this kind of shit never sees the inside of a courtroom. It's got too much stigma attached, and there are always others who have secrets to keep.
