Hi, OP here. I was extremely confused when he called. He started to shout about being dumped and so. I just let him shout out before I could tell him to man up and take some responsibility. It was a short conversation which ended with him hanging up the phone. Hopefully I won't hear from him again.

Hi, OP here. That is my real name, I'm half Irish on my dad's side and lived there until I was 5. Then we moved to Sweden because my mom was homesick. The guy was named Oskar, I hope that cleared that up.

I think it's kind of effed up you would assume it was his name? That's a super weird conclusion to draw from nothing.

Charlie is my favorite name for a girl. I'm currently leaning toward not having kids, but I already decided years ago if I do ever have a daughter I will definitely be naming her Charlotte and calling her Charlie. :)

Wow, #20, that's a hell of an assumption! Aside from the fact that Charlie can totally be a girl's name as well (I've known a couple, it's usually short for Charlene), there's also the fact that people have all kinds of random crazy usernames on here. Charlie could have referred to a celebrity or character that OP is a fan of, could have been the name of a friend or family member or pet, or pretty much anything. There's no reason at all to think her username was that guy's name.

Well, my name has a nice story to it too. Before my two brothers and I was bored, our parents were sure that we all were boys (we're triplets). When we came out they stuck with the names they'd decided; Patrick, William and Charlie. So my name is just Charlie, and it's not a nickname.

Charlie is actually fairly common for a girl. I know two female Charlies. One is actually named Charlie and the other is Charlotte but uses Charlie for short.
