I can see that happening -- pizza crust can be very hard on the edges. Corn chips often damage people's gums, too.

It could be worse. I broke my tooth on a bagel. Its so sad when seemingly safe food betrays us.

Solidarity dude, I've broken teeth on the following: soft bread, white rice, soft breadsticks, pizza crust, and chewing gum. Thank you genetics for terrible teeth. Thank you soda/caffeine addiction, and 4 kids/multiple pregnancies for making it worse. I'm 33 and am looking at getting dentures.
