Well, this might seem a little bit out of left field but you could try showing him some appreciation and respect. If you did that honestly I suspect he'd come to appreciate you a lot more.
If you had never shown it during the relationship then why did he marry you? I call bulls**t. If you cannot fix what is broken because he refuses to try then divorce is the only way. No point staying together if it's a one-sided fix as the other won't try. Life is too short.
