your choices : bladder infection or ugly rash
cranberry juice doesn't cure it but it does help clear it up and help prevent more from coming - be smart and research shit before you decide to post "facts"
No pic no proof.
46- so true :)
I'm a girl, obviously I do know that. I know cranberry helps. I'm just saying cranberry juice can't cure it. I said that because the person said choose between a bladder infection or cranberry juice. You don't need it for curing a UTI, it's just helpful. There is alternatives though like water, cranberry supplements which I find very helpful. Some doctors even prescribe pain medicine. I know what I'm talking about. I've experienced this stuff. So don't be a dick. I don't need research.
u tell him girl.
64 shouldn't be researching guys, seriously. She needs to be back in the kitchen making a sammich for a man. Get off the computer, you have civic duties such as cleaning to attend to.
How does being a girl suddenly make you the expert on this? Go to med school, then try talking
46, I'm so glad we got that straight. Now I can sleep tonight.
89- because girls can get them way more easier than guys can. especially after theyve had sex. what my doctors have told me is always empty your bladder before or after sex, drink water every day or drink a glass of pure cranberry juice at least 3 times a week if youve had a uti beforehand just to be safe and if youre sexually active. ive had four of them already in a year timeframe.

I'll weigh in here, because everybody seems to think he or she is an expert in the field, but no one has any actual facts to back it up. Here's the scoop from an ACTUAL expert: cranberry juice neither treats nor prevents urinary tract infections. A recent study (double blind, placebo) showed the rate of UTI was the same if you drink cranberry juice or not. Can we lay this to rest now? All you self-proclaimed "experts" are giving me a goddamned headache.
actually new research is showing that there's no difference between those who drink cranberry juice for a uti and those who drink other fruit juices during uti- the cranberry doesn't actually do anything. just drink plenty, avoid sugar and flush the system according to the directions on the antibiotics.
Im NOT an expert!!! Wooooo! LOL :D
147: If thats to me, my mom died of cancer 4 months ago. So fail on your part! Ahole!
ouch that must hurt
the rash and the pee thing
Sounds like a fun time.

Just a nice life tip, if the bladder infection is minor enough, just drink a tablespoon of baking soda in a tall glass of water. It tastes pretty horrible, but it will clear up the infection pretty quickly. However, if you're peeing blood or feeling an ache in your back, where your kidney is, go see a doctor.

bro its called anti biotics
Cranberry Juice is usually more of a "preventative" measure. And if you have a bladder infection, see a doctor because the chances of juice helping THAT drastically is very minimal. Maybe a little bit, but you'd be better off with medication.
