We need some context here.. *Why* was he upset? Was it for a real reason or did he just go off for no reason? Why would we need to be "ok" unless his reason for being upset is a major one? (like cheating on him, throwing away something personal of his, ect). if this is a regular occurrence without real reasons to become upset, you might want to seek out a therapist to help him and/or you assess the situation and see if it's actually a healthy dynamic.
