Bad day

Today, it's my birthday. I found out I have Covid. Also, the police kicked me out of the hotel I'm quarantining in. This is still not my worst birthday. FML

Where I'm from, you cannot kick some one out of a hotel room if they have been quarantining there. The government even reserved several hotels in order to have a place where to put the quarantining people. You know, because letting a Covid-positive patient on the streets to mingle with the general population is kind of not what you want to do right now.

quarantine is a buffer to make sure you're healthy before re entering the general public. you can't quarantine sick and healthy people together because that goes against it's purpose

that sucks but you can't quarantine with healthy people when you're sick, the cops were just doing their job. hopefully next year will make up for it
