Today, my mom called asking for advice on how to flirt with her personal trainer. I thought she was joking and asked her what Dad would think. Turns out they're getting divorced. They decided this three weeks ago. No one told me. FML

Today, I came home to find my dad crying. Turns out my parents are getting divorced because my mom had an affair. With a teacher at my school. A female teacher. And the school isn't going to fire her because she's a good teacher. Every day at school I'm going to have to see her. FML

Today, I went into my Moms room to look for a t-shirt. I went into her drawer and behind all of her clothes was a cell phone. Not only did I not find the t-shirt, I also found out my Mom is cheating on my Dad with someone from work and now I have to pretend like I don't know. I work there too. FML

They do if she lives at home. Even then, it's common courtesy for the parent to let their child know if they're getting a divorce. OP: FYL

I TOTALLY AGREE! Your Mom is an adult, she can do what she wants without asking for your "permission", even if you don't think of it that way, that is probably why you're mad. Get a grip and then go out and get a life, your parents obviously are.

and she comes to YOU? i thought it was supposed to be the daughters that go to there moms. than again, such an opportunity has to be good fun, i mean, look at the possibility's! you can tell your mom the guy loves woman that spoil their children! you can tell your mom the guy loves rubber ducks, and she should buy masses of them! (the dog agrees) and you'll get twice the amount of pocket money. its a win-win-win-win situation! and you deserve that! :) see, it isn't that bad,
