Give Mind a call. They can offer means tested therapy that can get you started while you are waiting. Their waiting list is way shorter than the NHS and they're a lot better. Don't expect actual help from the NHS even when you eventually get seen, just get your full, formal diagnosis out of them and use them to get any medications sorted out. Get any other medical conditions diagnosed or the diagnoses you already have and apply for PIP (doesn't matter if you are working or not). Google how to fill in the forms and make sure you get a letter from your Dr requesting a home assessment. You'll probably have to appeal the first decision, they do that to most people so don't take it personally. The monthly payments should be enough to help you pay for decent therapy. That's how I'm having to do it. There are a fair few places that can offer an affordable price for therapy and it's 100% better than anything you can get from the NHS. They're literally just running a pretty shabby triage now. I was in the same sort of position as you and all I got was a 3 monthly phone call to check I hadn't topped myself 🙄. Please don't trust in the NHS, you'll only be disappointed and that doesn't help the situation. Mind are a fantastic bunch, give them a call: 0300-123-3393 that's their main info line and every single person I've ever dealt with there have been entirely human. 🫂🫂

it may not feel like it, you may not trust, and I won’t even begin to understand what you have gone through, but please know there are people that care about you and can help. don’t give up looking for it. I hope for the best for you.
