Sometimes, the squeaky wheel just needs to stfu.
Make sure everyone knows you're the one who did it, don't let him take credit.
If it's a small business, why bother trying to save his money? If it's a big business, then tell the upper management. Maybe even take his position!
What??? Time to talk to his boss or find a new boss.
Stop complaining work isn't supposed to be fun he is your boss u do what he says period na mean
You called your boss out on his work performance and thought it would have a happy ending? Really?
This was my exact thoughts as well! You told your boss he wasn't working hard enough (basically saying he was lazy but in nice words) and that he needed to pull his own weight; I don't see how that could've gone well. I understand why you would want to say that, and hope that he's big enough of a person to handle it and decide to work harder, but I think it was more likely for him to take offence to what you said. I actually expected you to say you got fired.
I think you got your roles reversed. YDI

Want something done right, you gotta do it yourself.
Sounds like you either need a new boss or need to confront your boss' boss.
