Today, my boyfriend was complaining about his kids being hard to handle. He repeatedly said the other day that if he had a woman to help then maybe it wouldn’t be so hard. I don’t really know how to take that, since I’ve said multiple times I’m willing to meet them. I feel like I’m too close, to soon. FML

Why did you write "too close" and then "to soon?" You needed "too" in both places. Are you dating this guy or is this an extended babysitter interview?

She said she's willing to meet them, she didn't say she's willing to jump into marriage, which her boyfriend is implying that's what he wants. He sounds like he wants more of a long term caretaker for his kids than a wife, anyway.

You told him you want to meet his kids yet you feel it's too soon and too close? Which is it? Sounds like you're sending mixed signals to me and I would definitely hold off on letting you meet my kids.
