"Today, I was sitting on the bus when a man spilled his coffee all over me. FML"
I don't buy it. The bus driver wouldn't let you on the bus with a mug of coffee.
I call B.S. WHo the hell brings a coffee mug on the bus? Did you bring a plate of bagels, too? Geez.
You are so wrong, my dad brings a big cup of tea on the bus with him every day when he goes to work. I also take the bus and have seen several people with coffee cups on the bus, so it's entirely possible this took place.
Well, this depends on if it was a regular mug or a travel mug. You can bring a travel mug/travel cup (one of the paper ones from the store, I mean) on the bus. But you technically can't bring any open food containers (ie, mug, plate of food, etc). But you see pretty much everything possible on public transportation and it would really depend on the driver.
All right, then. #25, you made a good point. I can completely understand if it was a travel mug, and the OP just didn't phrase it right--saying "mug of coffee" seems misleading, you see. Then again, saying big mug of coffee could hint that it was travel size or at least those little paper cups like you've mentioned... Either way, OP, that was a pretty dumb. Enough said.
I'm assuming your morning ritual involves shooting up Heroin.
that was preeeetty dumb, OP.
This is a great way to get sued, dude.
Do you always sleep and drive?

I hope that doesn't mean you sometimes drive to work so tired that you can't tell the difference between putting your mug in a cup holder and whatever it is you thought was a cup holder, or can't tell the difference between driving and riding a bus. I find it a bit hard to believe that anyone could be that tired, but I guess everyone's bodies work a bit differently. It's very hard for me to get out of bed in the morning, but once I do get up, I'm wide awake.
Blame it on the bus hitting a bump or something.
