Today, after constant avoidance, I saw the man who slept with my mother and caused my parents to get divorced. I desperately wanted to punch him in the face, but instead I had to smile and shake his hand as he gave me my diploma. FML

On the positive note you are graduating so you probably get to move away from cheating mom and her new potential BF. At least I'd assume. FYL and F your dad's life too.

You gotta realize something OP. it's not that man's fault if your mom cheated on your dad it's her fault. The dude owed nothing to your dad. Your mom is wholy to blame for this.

OP, the reason for the divorce was that your mom decided to cheat on your father...sure the guy she cheated with is a jerk as well, but put the main blame where it belongs.
