Today, after constant avoidance, I saw the man who slept with my mother and caused my parents to get divorced. I desperately wanted to punch him in the face, but instead I had to smile and shake his hand as he gave me my diploma. FML

I would not have recommended this, but what I might have impulsively done had I been in your situation would be to snatch my diploma, knee him in the balls, and run over to the mic and tell the entire graduating class/their families what a dick he is.

Should have leaned in during the handshake and whispered something along the lines of, "now that this little detail is out of the way..." Would have left him anxious at the very least.
