Does he get this mad when she goes to the beach in a bikini? It's not up to him to decide how she dresses. He has issues, and needs to deal with them.
Why shouldn't she? Your husband ****** himself up, why should she miss out on the event?
Has he sat her down and had an honest conversation with her and tried to see where she’s coming from? Any parent who can’t have an honest conversation with their kid isn’t much of a parent. (Yes, I mainly mean parents of teenagers, although the older the kid is, the more such a skill is necessary.)
This is a husband problem not a daughter problem. There's zero excuse why his temper is that bad, and I guarantee this is not the first tantrum he's thrown. You should have intervened and made him get help a long time ago.
Does he play video games with woman characters, does he watch ****, does he go to strip clubs, did he ever have models on his walls growing up? If yes to any of this, he is a hypocrite. no matter if she's your daughter or not. Just because she is your daughter, doesn't mean that as an adult she can't choose what to wear and make her decision if she liked being seen that way. Also you have to rememeber, cosplay is the costuming and mannerisms of a fictional character. She is not *insert daughters name here*; she is that character and to be that character she can't just be walking around in her regular clothes. She's expressing herself in a fun, safe community, not out on a stripper pole dressed as pickachu, or doing Webcam shows as Regina (ronald) McDonald while she's ba da da da da lovin' it Yes some outfits are super provocative and you don't wanna see your daughter wearing that, fair statement; however you're more upset at the wrong person. Speak to the creators of the gaming industry instead. I mean sure being able to move freely is nice in battle, but where is a girl to hide a bazooka in a bikini? Sincerely a fellow gamer girl friend
I'm wondering how old your daughter is. If she's a teenager, she definitely shouldn't be wearing those skanky costumes that some cosplay consists of. If she's a grown adult, well, it's her choice. Kudos to her for having confidence to rock such a getup.
