Cursed cursive

Today, I was called by my son's school. They said he'd been forging my signature and comments in his reading book. He didn't forge them. I don't know what's worse: my handwriting looking like a 6 year-old's, or being too cowardly to admit it. He has a week of lunch detention, but I still have my dignity. FML

You let your kid get a week's worth of detention because you won't admit it was you? Some parent you are. Your kid's gonna be pissed at you, and you deserve all of it.

You certainly do NOT have any sort of "dignity" at all; all this shows is that you're an insecure prat who would rather betray the honesty of their own child for the sake of something SO petty as handwriting. Not only is this an FML (which should really have been because you lied to your son's teacher) but a severe failure of ethics and a plethora of other terms regarding proper conduct.

Funny how all the wrong people end up becoming parents. I sure as hell would never do that to my flesh & blood, because I have that fancy thing.. oh what's it called.. Oh yeah, MORALS.

this sounds like it was probably written by son about something that happened when he was a kid. if so, your parent really sucks

I'm not gonna blame this on him/her being french, because thats stupid and half racist. theres nothing wrong with the french, but that was just about the worst thing you could ever do to your child. who cares about your handwriting? it doesnt matter, nobody cares if your handwriting is bad, alot of peoples are. but telling your sons school that he forged stuff when he didnt ios a terrible thing to do. this is gonna be on his permanent record, and even though colleges dont look at 1st grade, hes not going to be respected, or trusted by anyone. and hes not gonna let you off easy, thats just plainmean. you'll get your dignity back when purple unicorns take over. your life isnt ******, your sons is.

oh good point. i wasnt completley sure what to write so i just kinda threw that in there. i wasnt really up to getting replies that consisited of 'well technically, its not racism"

YDI. I actually made an account just because of this post. Did you honestly think your dignity was so much more important than your child? Why did you reproduce to begin with?
