Cursed cursive

Today, I was called by my son's school. They said he'd been forging my signature and comments in his reading book. He didn't forge them. I don't know what's worse: my handwriting looking like a 6 year-old's, or being too cowardly to admit it. He has a week of lunch detention, but I still have my dignity. FML

You let your kid get a week's worth of detention because you won't admit it was you? Some parent you are. Your kid's gonna be pissed at you, and you deserve all of it.

Why is this a FYL? This is a F your child's life and chance for a childhood where they can grow up with a dependable and trustworthy parent. Suure... you have 'dignity', if you count 'dignity' as throwing your own flesh and blood under the proverbial bus. Why not blame your child for your marital problems too? Why not blame them for the reason why you can't please your partner? Why not blame your 6-year-old son for the suffering YOU'Re putting him through? I sure hope to God this is a joke, or else you gave me good reason to think genocide is the answer to dealing with ignorant, cowardly fuckheads like yourself.

"i still have my dignity." biggest paradox i've ever seen on FML. Some people just have too much pride to admit they have flaws, especially the french. i hope your spouse cheats on you, then divorces you and marries the other person, and you lose custody of your children. at least then your son (or children) will have some decent parents.

I'm going to put my two-cents in here. First, Everyone stop with the racist comments about French people. It just makes you look more arrogant, ignorant and downright stupid. So just shut the **** up and stop thinking you're the best people in the world. You're not. Second, considering how the OP is worried about a small thing like handwriting appearence. I believe we're talking about someone who was a teenage parent. Which just goes to add more evidence that teenagers should not be parents. They do not know what they're doing seeing as how they're still growing up theirselves. Yes some teenage parents raise good kids and are in fact good parents, I've knMown a couple myself, but they are too few and far between to change the majority. Going back to the Op though, to be honest I just don't see a man caring about his handwriting like that. So I'm going to follow the assumption that the OP is female. To the OP you really should put your kid up for adoption, tell your husband/boyfriend to leave your sorry ass (if you have a relationship) then get your entire reproductive system ripped out. My personal preference would be if you have no painkillers whatsoever during this operation Thank you everyone and I will follow this to read all the flames I expect to get. (Yes I know there's an "M" that shouldn't be in that "known" but I figured that as long as I was going to be pissing so many people off with my opinions, I might as well get the spelling and grammar goons going too :P However I've called MYSELF on it so it might take away from their fun, which is just more fun for me)
