Change that slide to suggest a reduction in his salary. Because no matter what, once that idea is planted, it cannot be removed.
Change it to his job.
Put his name and position down under 2 options 1. Taking a cut in pay Or 2. Making he position redundant What a bloody idiot

Email the PP presentation to him with a list (in the email) of reasons why option 3 is not the preferred option.
