If, for example, your neighbor had signed a lease that did not allow a pet that might have been the explanation for them getting evicted. Many times landlords require an additional deposit for pet damage because pets can be destructive. And sometimes the people who rent lie about having a pet to avoid the financial penalties… It seems improbable that they would evict a tenant just for not picking up their animal’s waste. So while your complaint might have been instrumental in getting your neighbor evicted, it probably was not the sole cause… It’s always tricky living with neighbors. It’s usually better for minor issues to politely ask for cooperation from your neighbors than to report them - Because there is a significant possibility that they will figure out who reported them. And it’s best not to get into feuds with your neighbors. Most people understand this and if you ask nicely they will usually cooperate. But there are some stupid and argumentative a-holes that won’t.
My apartment complex has sent out emails saying they will evict you for not picking up after your animals, as well as smoking outside on your porch or balcony.
One... ...wait on it... ...shitty situation leads to another... ...wait on it again... ...shitty situation, yeeeeooow!
you were probably not the first complaint or their first issue. or they weren't supposed to have pets. you didn't do this, they brought it on themselves. it's really not hard to pick up after your animal
Dont feel bad they must have had more than one complaint and its really disgusting when people dont pick up after their pets.
Well...THAT escalated quickly...
