Dumbass

Today, my 18 year-old son threatened to sue a store because they refused to give him a senior discount, at which point he trashed the store in a blind rage, and got banned for life. That would make more sense if he was actually a senior, not a senior in high school. FML

Sounds like someone needs a bus ride to the nearest Boot Camp. That will surely set him straight.

He's got a good case. Stores have been too flippant with their bait-and-switch tactics. If all goes well, stores will be responsible and offer him a senior discount when he's a senior in college. He's practically the Rosa Parks for ageism. If they just want to give discounts to old farts, they ought to call it the Old Fart Discount.

the fault lies with the parents if the child grows up this entitled

Perhaps, but nothing military school can't fix.

The kid sound more dim than entitled.

'Blind rage' my ass. He knew exactly what he was doing and you are busy making excuses for him. Google 'Enabler' and then go look in the mirror. Then either ground him or make him work back the damages.

I gathered from the fact that he's 18, that he's not a senior. If he's at least a senior in high school, then that's something. It's not something to go into a blind rage about, but something to at least justify some definition of senior. Honestly, a reaction like this makes me wonder what kind of parents raised an entitled jerk with anger issues who is so sheltered he doesn't even know what a senior discount is.

High school senior? Sounds more like a kindergartner to me.
