Just because OP's friends don't hang out at her parent's house doesn't mean she has no friends. I have two sons. The older one, he and his buddies hang out our house. The younger one, he and his friends hang out at another friend's house. Probably because the younger one's friends don't care to mix with the older one and his friends.
