Next week call him, fake panic, and say he needs to bail you out of jail. When he gets mad, ask if it's still boring or if he thinks he should have just said that yes, he is proud.

YDI for being ignorant about psychological problems and physical problems. Those things are out of ones control. Be glad if you have never been depressed/anxious/etc or in the hospital, but not proud.
