Excuses

Today, a woman on the train demanded I give up my seat for her, claiming it was for people with disabilities. Tired from a long day at work, and seeing she had nothing wrong with her, I asked what her disability was. Apparently, obesity is one. FML

As you just found out, stupidity is also a disability. A VERY common disability.

Its a shame all the food that gets wasted feeding fat people instead of the starving people across the country and the world.

This makes me angry. Our country is filled with people who have a sense of entitlement. People who cannot stop eating are not entitled to a seat.

She's probably tired too...long day of carrying around her own fat ass.

She may have had a thyroid condition or something else that made her gain weight beyond her control. Of course, it is less likely of an explanation than Burger King or McDonalds. Also, it may not be a choice. If she is extremely poor, she may only be able to afford unhealthy food. McDonald's is a lot less cheaper than, say, lean organic beef.

And she was probably going to get a stronger scale because she broke hers. Hope you stayed in your seat!

People like that woman really annoy me! I am obese but I will never use that as an excuse for anything!
