To be fair, neither of you are qualified to give medical advice...
pharmacists can (at least where I am) give medical advice to certain extent. they know their meds and learn about simpler things to be able to adequately suggest proper meds (creams, Advil vs Tylenol). in some places they can even prescribe certain medication too.
Her friend probably knows how to pair cheese with wine perfectly? What more medical advice do you need?
If you can rattle off every adverse reaction/etc to every drug, as well as the ingredients and what they can do to you, etc. you might have a point.
But your not a doctor? Should I ask for financial retirement investment advice from my bank teller friend or someone with life experience??
